Sturgeon Bay, WI:  Every community needs a cool shop that features local goods – this is Door County’s. The Door County Social™ Shop is proud to announce they are celebrating their first full year of showcasing and selling locally made goods at both their retail location in Sturgeon Bay and also online to the nation. They opened the doors to their retail space in November of 2016 featuring 8 local makers. It has now grown to over 20 local entrepreneurs and artisans selling a unique variety of goods. The support from both the local community and visitors has been very encouraging and to celebrate this special occasion the Door County Social™ Shop will be hosting an Open House event all weekend, Friday, Nov 17th through Sunday, Nov 19th. Come meet some of the local makers, enter for prize drawings and enjoy some refreshments

More than just a boutique store selling locally made goods, the Door County Social™ Shop is committed to supporting Door County’s creative GDP and the efforts of local entrepreneurs and makers by offering both retail space and a comprehensive digital advertising plan to help promote their brands and sell their goods both in the store and nationally online. The off season is long in Door County, this model helps local Door County creatives enjoy sales year round and also offers Door County Lovers a true omni channel shopping experience they can enjoy whether they are in Door County or miles away.
