Grand Opening Door County Holiday Pop-up Shop, November 19th and 20th.

holidayshop400Stop by Saturday, 10am – 7pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm. Grand opening events include live music from Cellist Lori Meyer, long-time member of Allegro String Quartet and a past player with the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra, Fox Valley Symphony, and the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra. Lori will be playing a selection of holiday, classical and festive music on Saturday from 2:30 – 4:30.

Sunday Ann Heyes, Author, “Good Morning, Door County” will be present for a live reading and signing of her new book. A delightful children’s book that explores some of the many enchanting treasures of Door County. There will also be raffle prizes and treats throughout the weekend.

The Door County Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a curated group of Artist, Artisans and Makers with products made in and inspired by Door County. Opening in November and running through the end of December. Some of the vendors participating so far, include Trillium Organics, makers of organic and all natural beauty and skin care products, Reve Calme, makers of all natural linen sprays and unique bath salts, FabricArt by Martha, beautifully hand, ice-dyed apparel and accessories, Everlasting Doodle, a Mother and Daughter team creating a variety of typography art, jewelry and other unique items, Good Morning Door County, a children’s book by Ann Heyse and illustrated by Karen Wilke Heyse, Little Harbor Designs, artisan made purses and accessories, apparel by Fresh Riviera and Door County Clothing Company plus a variety of other artists and makers from all around Door County. There will also be a rotation of other artists, makers and special events on the weekends.

The Pop-up shop artist, makers and artisans will also be featured in the soon to be released Door County Holiday Wishbook. A visual, interactive digital magazine designed exclusively for the Door County enthusiast, featuring unique experiences and products only found in this magical location.
